Can you turn off screenshotting on iphone

There is no built-in feature on the iPhone that allows you to turn off screenshotting completely. However, you can prevent screenshots from being taken in certain apps or under certain conditions by using Restrictions or Guided Access. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  2. Turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions if it’s not already on.
  3. Tap on Allowed Apps and turn off any apps you want to prevent screenshots from being taken in.
  4. If you want to prevent screenshots from being taken in all apps, turn off the Screen Recording option under Content & Privacy Restrictions.

Alternatively, you can use Guided Access to lock your iPhone to a single app and prevent screenshots from being taken. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access.
  2. Turn on Guided Access if it’s not already on.
  3. Open the app you want to lock your iPhone to.
  4. Triple-click the Home button (or the side button on newer iPhones) to enable Guided Access.
  5. Tap on Options and turn off the Screenshot option.
  6. Tap on Start to begin Guided Access.

Note that these methods only prevent screenshots from being taken on your own device. There is no way to prevent someone else from taking a screenshot of content on their own device if they have access to it.
