Mikasa Ackerman’s eye color is a topic of much debate among fans of the anime and manga series “Attack on Titan.” Some fans believe that her eyes are brown, while others argue that they are more of a dark gray or even black color.
To answer this question, we must first examine the evidence provided in the series. Mikasa’s eyes are shown in many scenes throughout the anime and manga, and the color of her eyes can vary depending on the lighting and shading used in each panel or shot.
In some scenes, Mikasa’s eyes do appear to be brown. For example, in Episode 1 of the anime series, Mikasa’s eyes are depicted as a warm brown color when she is introduced as a young child. Similarly, in Chapter 1 of the manga series, Mikasa’s eyes are shown as brown in a flashback scene from her childhood.
However, in other scenes, Mikasa’s eyes appear to be more of a dark gray or black color. For example, in Episode 7 of the anime series, Mikasa’s eyes are shown as a very dark color when she confronts Eren about his recklessness. Similarly, in Chapter 2 of the manga series, Mikasa’s eyes are depicted as black in a panel where she is shown looking fiercely determined.
So, why is there so much debate about the color of Mikasa’s eyes? One possible explanation is that the color of her eyes may be intentionally ambiguous in order to convey different emotions and moods. For example, Mikasa’s eyes may appear brown when she is calm and content, but darken to a more intense shade when she is angry or determined.
Another possible explanation is that the color of Mikasa’s eyes may be influenced by the lighting and shading used in each scene. In some scenes, the lighting may be warmer and more yellow-toned, which could make her eyes appear more brown. In other scenes, the lighting may be cooler and bluer, which could make her eyes appear more gray or black.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the color of Mikasa’s eyes may simply be a matter of artistic interpretation by the creators of the series. In the manga, for example, the color of her eyes may be left up to the reader’s imagination, while in the anime, the color of her eyes may be subject to the whims of the animators and colorists.
In conclusion, the question of whether Mikasa’s eyes are brown is not a simple one to answer. While her eyes are often depicted as brown in some scenes, they can also appear more gray or black in others. Ultimately, the color of Mikasa’s eyes may be open to interpretation, and may vary depending on the mood, lighting, and artistic choices made by the creators of the series.
