Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier, is a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) who first appeared in the movie “Captain America: The First Avenger” and has since appeared in several other MCU films and television series. While there have been rumors and speculation about Bucky appearing in “Eternals,” there is currently no confirmed information about his involvement in the film.
“Eternals” is an upcoming Marvel Studios film that is part of the MCU. It is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, created by Jack Kirby in 1976. The film is directed by Chloé Zhao and stars a large ensemble cast that includes Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, and others.
The plot of “Eternals” centers around a group of ancient and powerful beings known as the Eternals, who have been living among humans for thousands of years. They are tasked with protecting humanity from a race of evil beings known as the Deviants. The film explores themes of identity, purpose, and the nature of humanity.
Despite the lack of official confirmation, there have been rumors and speculation about Bucky Barnes appearing in “Eternals.” Some fans have pointed to the fact that the character has a long history in the Marvel Comics, and that he could potentially fit into the cosmic and supernatural themes of the film.
However, it’s important to note that Marvel Studios has not announced any plans to include Bucky Barnes in “Eternals.” While the MCU is known for its interconnectedness and crossover events, each film and television series is also designed to stand alone as a complete story. It’s possible that Bucky could appear in a future MCU project, but there is no reason to believe that he will have a role in “Eternals.”
In fact, it’s worth noting that “Eternals” already has a large and diverse cast of characters, and that the film is expected to focus on the stories and relationships of the Eternals themselves. While there may be some references or connections to other MCU characters, it’s unlikely that any one character will play a major role in the film.
In conclusion, there is currently no confirmed information about Bucky Barnes appearing in “Eternals.” While there have been rumors and speculation about the character’s involvement in the film, Marvel Studios has not announced any plans to include him in the cast. Fans will have to wait and see what surprises and connections “Eternals” has in store when it is released in theaters in November 2021.
