Paramount+ (formerly CBS All Access) is a streaming service that provides subscribers with access to a wide range of movies, TV shows, live sports, and more. As of March 2023, there are several ways to access Paramount+, including through the Paramount+ website and mobile apps, as well as through certain TV providers and streaming devices. While some users may be wondering if they can access Paramount+ for free through Amazon Prime, the answer is a bit more complicated.
Amazon Prime is a subscription service offered by Amazon that provides a wide range of benefits, including free shipping on eligible items, access to a variety of streaming content, and more. While Amazon Prime does offer access to a number of streaming services as part of its membership, Paramount+ is not currently included in this lineup.
However, Amazon Prime members can still access Paramount+ content by subscribing to the service through Amazon Channels. Amazon Channels is a feature that allows Prime members to add premium channels to their subscription for an additional fee. Paramount+ is one of the channels that can be added to a Prime membership through Amazon Channels, giving users access to all of the content available on the streaming service.
It is worth noting, however, that subscribing to Paramount+ through Amazon Channels does not provide access to the same features as a standalone Paramount+ subscription. For example, users may not be able to access all of the same content, and some features may be limited or not available at all. Additionally, the cost of subscribing to Paramount+ through Amazon Channels may be higher than the cost of a standalone subscription.
To access Paramount+ through Amazon Channels, users will need to have an Amazon Prime membership and an Amazon account. They can then navigate to the Amazon Channels section of the Amazon website or mobile app and select Paramount+ from the list of available channels. From there, they will be prompted to sign up for the service and provide payment information.
In summary, while Paramount+ is not currently available for free with an Amazon Prime membership, users can still access the service by subscribing through Amazon Channels. However, it is important to note that this method may come with certain limitations and may be more expensive than a standalone Paramount+ subscription.
