1. Maverik Boise West, Idaho
Set to close in March 2026, the Boise West location on 1st Street has been a staple for locals, offering fuel, snacks, and quick bites. The closure is part of Maverik’s strategic realignment to focus on higher-performing locations, and the lease was not renewed due to declining sales. Residents are advised to visit nearby Maverik stores on Gowen Road or in Meridian for similar services.
2. Maverik Salt Lake City Downtown, Utah
This flagship store located at 300 South Main Street is closing in April 2026. Despite its central location and high foot traffic, the store struggled with rent costs and competition from newer convenience chains. Maverik plans to open a new, larger store with expanded amenities in the suburbs, but downtown residents will need to find alternatives in the meantime.
3. Maverik Cheyenne East, Wyoming
Scheduled to close in May 2026, the Cheyenne East store on East Lincolnway has been a key stop for travelers heading east. The closure stems from a lease dispute with the shopping center owner, prompting Maverik to consolidate operations into its newer locations nearby. Loyal customers can visit the Maverik at 1500 South Greeley Highway for similar offerings.
4. Maverik Rapid City North, South Dakota
Closing in June 2026, the Rapid City North location on 5th Street has seen declining sales over the past year. Maverik is shifting focus to its larger stores with expanded food services and fuel options, leaving smaller outlets like this one behind. Customers are encouraged to visit the Maverik on Cambell Street for the same convenience.
5. Maverik Billings West, Montana

6. Maverik Casper South, Wyoming
Set to close in August 2026, the Casper South store on South Poplar Street has been a popular stop for locals and travelers alike. Customers can still access Maverik at the Casper North location on Yellowstone Highway.
7. Maverik Rapid City South, South Dakota
Closing in September 2026, this site on West Chicago Street is one of Maverik’s older locations. The company is investing in newer, more efficient stores and is closing this one to make room for expansion. Nearby locations in Rapid City will absorb its customer base, ensuring minimal disruption.
8. Maverik Spokane East, Washington
The Spokane East store on Sprague Avenue is scheduled for closure in October 2026. The decision was driven by the need for a larger, more modern facility in the Spokane area. Maverik plans to open a new store in the Spokane Valley to better serve the community’s needs.
9. Maverik Boise North, Idaho
Set to close in November 2026, the Boise North location on State Street has been a long-standing fixture since the early 2000s. Maverik is consolidating its presence in Boise to focus on high-traffic areas, and this store will be replaced with a larger, more accessible site nearby. Customers are encouraged to visit the Maverik on Orchard Street.
10. Maverik Grand Junction, Colorado
The Grand Junction location on 12th Street will close in December 2026 as part of Maverik’s regional restructuring. The closure allows for the development of a new, upgraded store with more fuel pumps and expanded convenience options. Regular visitors should note the closure date and plan to visit the new store opening in early 2027.
