Schnucks Maplewood, Missouri
The Schnucks store located at 7110 Manchester Rd in Maplewood is slated for closure in early 2026. This store has been a staple in the community for decades, but recent financial challenges and declining foot traffic have prompted Schnucks to reevaluate its footprint. The closure is expected to occur by March 2026, with plans to potentially open a smaller format store nearby or focus on online grocery delivery services in the area.
Schnucks Florissant, Missouri
The Florissant location at 1300 N New Florissant Rd is also on the list for closure in 2026. This store has struggled with competition from newer grocery chains and online retailers. Schnucks aims to consolidate operations and focus on more profitable locations, which means this store will shut its doors by April 2026. Customers are advised to shop at the nearby Schnucks in Hazelwood or use the online platform for deliveries.
Schnucks Kirkwood, Missouri
At 1000 S Kirkwood Rd, the Kirkwood Schnucks will close in mid-2026. The store’s aging infrastructure and declining sales have contributed to this decision. Schnucks plans to invest in upgrading other stores in the St. Louis area rather than maintaining this location, which will close by June 2026. Residents are encouraged to use the Schnucks in Webster Groves or utilize curbside pickup options.
Schnucks in O’Fallon, Illinois
The O’Fallon store at 1500 W Highway 50 is set to close in 2026 as part of Schnucks’ regional restructuring. The company is shifting focus toward larger, more modern stores and online services, rendering some older locations less viable. The closure is expected around July 2026, with plans to expand digital grocery options for O’Fallon residents.
Schnucks Belleville, Illinois
Located at 150 W Main St, the Belleville Schnucks will cease operations in 2026. The store has faced stiff competition and operational challenges, leading Schnucks to prioritize other locations. Schnucks in Columbia, Missouri
The Columbia store at 1800 W Broadway is among those closing in 2026. The store’s limited parking and outdated layout have impacted sales, prompting Schnucks to close this location by September 2026. Residents are encouraged to shop at the Schnucks in Ashland or use online services for convenience.
Schnucks Chesterfield, Missouri
The Chesterfield location at 17354 Chesterfield Airport Rd is scheduled for closure in late 2026. Despite being a popular store, its smaller size and proximity to other Schnucks stores make it less sustainable. Schnucks in St. Charles, Missouri
The St. Charles store at 1800 First Capitol Dr is closing in 2026 as part of Schnucks’ strategic realignment. The store has experienced declining sales due to competition from other grocery chains, leading to its scheduled closure in November 2026. Customers are encouraged to visit the Schnucks in Wentzville or use online delivery services.
Schnucks in Edwardsville, Illinois
The Edwardsville store at 1400 SILVER St will shut down in 2026. Schnucks is focusing on larger, more modern locations, and this store’s outdated facilities contributed to its closure decision. The store is expected to close by December 2026, with residents advised to use the nearby Schnucks in Glen Carbon or online shopping options.
Schnucks in Jefferson City, Missouri
The Jefferson City store at 3700 W Truman Blvd is also on the closure list for 2026. The store has struggled with sales and operational costs, prompting Schnucks to consolidate its presence. The closure is planned for December 2026, and customers can shop at the Schnucks in Columbia or utilize online services for convenience.
