How to Choose
When selecting a 12 inch laptop, consider the balance between portability and performance. Screen quality matters significantly—look for at least Full HD resolution and preferably an IPS or OLED panel for better color accuracy and viewing angles. CPU choice impacts what tasks the laptop can handle; Intel Core i5 or i7 processors generally provide smooth multitasking, while ARM or Core M chips favor battery life over raw power. Battery life is critical for on-the-go users, so weigh that alongside weight and build quality. Also, consider connectivity options like USB-C, Thunderbolt, and LTE/5G if you need constant internet access. Lastly, think about whether you want a traditional clamshell laptop or a 2-in-1 convertible for added versatility.
