When you mix purple and blue, you can create a range of different colors depending on the ratios of the two colors that you use. The specific color you get will also depend on whether you are mixing paint or light, as these two mediums behave differently when mixed together.
When mixing paint, purple and blue can create a range of different shades of blue-violet or blue-purple. The exact shade you get will depend on the proportions of the two colors you use. If you add more blue than purple, you will create a blue-violet hue that is darker and more muted. If you add more purple than blue, you will create a blue-purple hue that is lighter and more vibrant.
When mixing light, purple and blue create a different range of colors due to the way the two colors interact. When you mix blue and purple light, you get a deep shade of magenta. Magenta is a purplish-red color that is created by combining equal parts of red and blue light. When purple and blue are mixed together in light, they combine to create magenta because the wavelengths of light that correspond to purple and blue are both absorbed and reflected by magenta.
It’s important to note that the specific shade of purple and blue that you start with can also affect the final color you create. For example, if you mix a darker shade of purple with a lighter shade of blue, you may get a lighter shade of blue-violet than if you mix a lighter shade of purple with a darker shade of blue. Additionally, the specific type of paint or light that you are using can also affect the final color, as different pigments or types of light may interact differently.
In summary, when you mix purple and blue, you can create a range of different colors depending on the proportions of each color and the medium in which you are mixing them. When mixing paint, you can create various shades of blue-violet or blue-purple, while when mixing light, you create a deep shade of magenta. The exact color you create will depend on the specific shades of purple and blue that you use, as well as the type of medium you are working with.
