Eren Yeager is a fictional character from the popular manga and anime series Attack on Titan. His age is a matter of some debate among fans, as his exact birth year has not been revealed in the series. However, based on information provided in the manga and anime, we can make an educated guess about Eren’s age.
Eren is introduced in the series as a young boy living in the walled city of Shiganshina, which is located on the edge of a world overrun by man-eating Titans. When the Titans breach the city’s walls, Eren witnesses the death of his mother and decides to join the military in order to fight back against the Titans.
In the first episode of the anime, Eren is shown as a child of approximately ten years old. It is established that the attack on Shiganshina took place five years before the start of the series, so we can assume that Eren is around 15 years old at the beginning of the story.
Over the course of the series, Eren ages and matures, but his exact age is not always clear. In the second season of the anime, there is a time skip of several years, during which Eren and the other characters train to become elite soldiers. It is not explicitly stated how much time passes during this training period, but it is generally believed to be around two to three years.
Based on this information, we can estimate that Eren is around 18-19 years old by the time he completes his training and becomes a member of the Survey Corps. This would make him a young adult, and roughly the same age as many of the other main characters in the series.
It is worth noting that the exact timeline of Attack on Titan is somewhat murky, and there are many gaps and inconsistencies in the information provided in the series. Additionally, Eren’s age is not always a major focus of the story, as the series is more concerned with exploring themes of survival, humanity, and political intrigue in a world overrun by Titans.
In conclusion, Eren Yeager’s age is somewhat ambiguous, but based on the information provided in the series, we can estimate that he is around 15 years old at the start of the story and around 18-19 years old by the time he becomes a member of the Survey Corps. However, it is important to note that Eren’s age is not always a major focus of the story, and the exact timeline of the series is somewhat unclear.
