As an animated character, Moana’s height is not officially specified in any official Disney sources. However, fans have speculated on her height based on various clues from the movie and other sources.
Moana, the protagonist of the Disney movie of the same name, is a Polynesian princess who embarks on a journey to save her people. She is depicted as a strong and capable young woman with a slender build and long, wavy hair.
One clue to Moana’s height comes from her portrayal in the Disney Infinity video game, in which she is listed as being 5’5″ (165 cm) tall. However, it’s worth noting that this information comes from an unofficial source and may not be accurate.
Another clue to Moana’s height comes from her physical appearance in the movie. In the movie, Moana is depicted as being shorter than Maui, the demigod who accompanies her on her journey. Maui is described as being 8 feet (2.44 meters) tall, making Moana’s height seem comparatively smaller. However, it’s important to note that the proportions of the characters in the movie are exaggerated for artistic effect, and may not accurately reflect their true heights.
Additionally, Moana’s height can be inferred from her age and ethnicity. Polynesians, like Moana, tend to be shorter than people from other regions, with an average height of around 5’4″ (162 cm) for women. However, this is just an average, and individual heights can vary widely depending on factors such as genetics, nutrition, and overall health.
It’s also worth noting that Moana’s height, like that of any animated character, is ultimately determined by the animators who created her. The animators make decisions about how tall to make each character based on a variety of factors, including the character’s age, ethnicity, and personality, as well as artistic considerations such as the overall look and feel of the movie.
In conclusion, while Moana’s height is not officially specified, fans have speculated that she may be around 5’5″ (165 cm) based on clues from the movie and other sources. However, it’s important to remember that her height, like that of any animated character, is ultimately a creative decision made by the animators who created her, and may not necessarily reflect any particular real-world standard or expectation.
