In the television series “Yellowstone,” Beth Dutton is portrayed as an American woman who was born and raised in Montana. However, the actress who plays Beth, Kelly Reilly, is actually of British nationality.
Kelly Reilly was born on July 18, 1977, in Surrey, England. She began her acting career in 1995 and has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including “Pride & Prejudice,” “Sherlock Holmes,” “True Detective,” and “Britannia.” However, her role as Beth Dutton in “Yellowstone” has garnered her widespread recognition and critical acclaim.
In “Yellowstone,” Beth Dutton is the eldest daughter of John Dutton, the patriarch of the powerful Dutton family who owns the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. Beth is portrayed as a fierce and intelligent businesswoman who is fiercely loyal to her family and will stop at nothing to protect their interests. She is a complex character who is often at odds with her father and brothers but is also deeply devoted to them.
Another clue that has been pointed out by fans is Beth’s surname, which is typically associated with Scotland or Ireland. Reilly herself is of Irish and English descent, which has led some viewers to speculate that the character of Beth may also have Celtic ancestry.
However, it’s important to note that the creators of Yellowstone have not officially stated Beth’s nationality, and it’s possible that her background may never be revealed on the show. Ultimately, while there are various clues and theories about where Beth comes from, her true nationality remains a mystery.
Despite being of British nationality, Kelly Reilly’s portrayal of Beth Dutton in “Yellowstone” has been praised for its authenticity and depth. She has successfully captured the essence of a strong, independent American woman who is both vulnerable and powerful, and her performance has contributed significantly to the success of the show.
