Peacock is a popular streaming service that provides users with access to a vast collection of content, including movies, TV shows, news, and sports. However, some Samsung Smart TV owners have been waiting for the service to become available on their TVs. Unfortunately, as of now, Peacock is not yet available on Samsung Smart TVs, but NBCUniversal has announced that it is currently working on making it available to these TVs and other platforms in the future.
The delay in bringing Peacock to Samsung Smart TVs may be caused by several factors, such as technical requirements and negotiations between NBCUniversal and Samsung. Peacock uses a proprietary streaming technology called Philips, which may require adjustments to work with Samsung Smart TVs. Moreover, Samsung Smart TVs use the Tizen operating system, which may require additional testing and development to ensure compatibility with Peacock.
Additionally, the negotiations between NBCUniversal and Samsung may involve issues such as revenue sharing, advertising, and distribution rights. These negotiations may be ongoing, which may be causing the delay in bringing Peacock to Samsung Smart TVs.
Despite the delay, Samsung Smart TV owners can still access Peacock through other devices like streaming devices, smartphones, and tablets. They can download the Peacock app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and sign in using their Peacock account. Alternatively, they can use a streaming device such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, or Apple TV to access Peacock on their Samsung Smart TVs.
Once Peacock becomes available on Samsung Smart TVs, users will have to download and install the Peacock app and sign in using their Peacock account credentials. After that, they can enjoy Peacock’s full range of content, including movies, TV shows, news, and sports.
In conclusion, while Peacock is not currently available on Samsung Smart TVs, NBCUniversal is working on making the service available on these TVs soon. In the meantime, Samsung Smart TV owners can still access Peacock on other devices or through a streaming device, and once it becomes available, they can easily download the Peacock app and start enjoying its content.
