Hashira, also known as the Pillars, are the elite demon slayers in the Demon Slayer Corps who possess exceptional combat skills. Some of them didn’t make it out of the battles, but others managed to survive.
During the fight against the Lower Moon One, Kyogai, the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, was badly injured but still managed to defeat the demon. Despite losing both eyes and an arm, Tengen used his other senses to locate and attack his enemy.
In the fight against the Upper Moon Two, Daki and Gyutaro, the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, also suffered severe injuries. But using her “Love Breathing” ability, Mitsuri gained the strength to defeat the demons and survive.
The Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, unfortunately, didn’t survive the battle against the Upper Moon Four, Hantengu. But he did land a critical hit on the demon, which led to its defeat.
The Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro, was gravely injured during the battle against the Upper Moon Five, Gyokko, but he still managed to defeat the demon using his “Serpent Breathing” technique.
Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, also survived his battle against the Upper Moon Six, Doma. Despite suffering several injuries, including a broken arm and leg, Sanemi used his “Wind Breathing” technique to gain the strength needed to defeat the demon.
In the final battle against the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji, the Hashira fought bravely, but not all of them survived. The Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka, was heavily injured but still managed to contribute to the demon king’s defeat using his “Water Breathing” technique.
Tengen Uzui and Mitsuri Kanroji also fought in the final battle and managed to survive, playing a critical role in defeating the demon king and saving humanity.
In summary, while some of the Hashira lost their lives during battles, others like Tengen Uzui, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Giyu Tomioka managed to survive, despite severe injuries. The Hashira fought bravely against the demons, with their exceptional skills leading to the defeat of many of the Upper Moons and ultimately, the demon king.
