Pseudo-legendaries are a group of powerful Pokémon that are not officially classified as Legendary, but still boast high base stats and a variety of abilities that make them formidable opponents in battle. The term “pseudo-legendary” was first used to describe Dragonite, a fan-favorite Pokémon that had impressive stats and was difficult to obtain. Since then, other Pokémon have been added to the pseudo-legendary group, including Salamence, Metagross, Garchomp, Hydreigon, Goodra, and Dragapult.

However, among these formidable creatures, there is one that stands out as the weakest of the bunch: Goodra.
Goodra is a Dragon-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation VI, making it one of the more recent additions to the pseudo-legendary group. It has a base stat total of 600, which is the lowest among all the pseudo-legendaries. Goodra’s stats are also not distributed as evenly as some of the other pseudo-legendaries, which makes it less versatile in battle.
Goodra’s base HP stat is 90, which is the lowest among the pseudo-legendaries. While this isn’t necessarily a huge disadvantage, it does mean that Goodra is more susceptible to being taken out by strong attacks. Its base defense and special defense stats are both 70, which is also on the lower end of the pseudo-legendary spectrum. This means that Goodra is not particularly resilient to physical or special attacks.
Goodra’s offensive stats are slightly better than its defensive stats, but they are still not as impressive as some of the other pseudo-legendaries. Its base attack stat is 100, which is the lowest among the pseudo-legendaries except for Hydreigon, and its base special attack stat is 110, which is also relatively low. Goodra’s speed stat is also quite low, at just 80, which means that it is easily outsped by many other Pokémon.
One of the main advantages of Goodra is its typing. As a Dragon-type Pokémon, it has a number of resistances and immunities, including to Electric and Grass-type moves. It also has a resistance to Fire-type moves, which is useful given that many of the other pseudo-legendaries are weak to Fire. However, its typing also leaves it vulnerable to a number of common types, including Ice, Dragon, and Fairy. This means that Goodra can be easily taken out by many other Pokémon, even ones that do not have particularly high base stats.
Goodra’s movepool is also somewhat limited, which further limits its potential in battle. While it does have access to a number of powerful moves, including Dragon Pulse and Sludge Bomb, it does not have as much variety as some of the other pseudo-legendaries. This means that it can be predictable in battle, and opponents may be able to take advantage of its weaknesses.
Another disadvantage of Goodra is its lack of a Mega Evolution or Gigantamax form. While some of the other pseudo-legendaries have access to these forms, which can significantly increase their stats and abilities, Goodra does not. This means that its potential in battle is somewhat limited compared to some of the other pseudo-legendaries.
Overall, while Goodra is still a powerful Pokémon, it is the weakest of the pseudo-legendaries. Its low base stat total, uneven stat distribution, limited movepool, and lack of a Mega Evolution or Gigantamax form make it less versatile in battle than some of the other pseudo-legendaries. However, this does not mean that Goodra cannot be a valuable addition to a team. It still has a number of useful abilities and can be a strong offensive force when used effectively.
