Why was venom not in no way home?

There could be several reasons why Venom was not featured in the movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” One reason could be that the storyline for the movie didn’t require the presence of Venom. Another reason could be due to the complicated nature of the film rights surrounding the character of Venom.

Venom is a character from the Spider-Man comics, but the rights to the character are owned by Sony Pictures, while the rights to Spider-Man are owned by Marvel Studios. Although both studios have a partnership that allows Spider-Man to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s possible that the studios were unable to come to an agreement to include Venom in “No Way Home.”

It’s also important to note that while fans may have been expecting to see Venom in the movie due to the post-credits scene in the movie “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” the events of that movie take place in a separate universe, which may not be directly connected to the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
