Hidan is a fictional character from the anime and manga series Naruto. He is a member of the organization Akatsuki and possesses a unique ability to use a curse technique that makes him essentially immortal. Despite sustaining severe injuries, Hidan has the ability to recover from them almost instantly, making it difficult for his opponents to defeat him.
In the series, Hidan is known for his distinctive appearance and his penchant for violence. He wears a black and white robe with red clouds and a large, pointed hat. His face is adorned with black markings and he carries a large scythe-like weapon that he uses to perform his deadly curse technique.
Hidan’s curse technique involves drawing his own blood and spilling it on the ground in a circle. He then stabs himself in the chest with his scythe, which transfers the curse to his opponent. From that point forward, any damage inflicted upon Hidan is also inflicted upon his opponent. Additionally, Hidan can use the curse to control his opponent’s movements, making it almost impossible for them to defend themselves.
Throughout the series, Hidan is involved in several battles, including one against the main character, Naruto Uzumaki. During this battle, Hidan is severely injured, but his curse technique allows him to continue fighting. However, he is eventually defeated when Shikamaru Nara manages to outsmart him and trap him in a pit.
After his defeat, Hidan is assumed to be dead. However, it is later revealed that he survived his injuries and was captured by the Hidden Stone Village. He is then incarcerated in a special cell that is designed to negate his curse technique, rendering him mortal once again.
It is important to note that Hidan is a fictional character and therefore his fate is ultimately decided by the creators of the Naruto series. As of my knowledge cutoff of September 2021, Hidan’s fate beyond his imprisonment in the special cell is unknown. It is possible that he may have been killed or escaped, or that he may still be alive in the Naruto universe.
In conclusion, based on the information available up until my knowledge cutoff date, it is unclear whether Hidan is still alive in the Naruto universe. While he was defeated and captured by the Hidden Stone Village, his ultimate fate beyond his imprisonment in a special cell is unknown.
