Ace: Portgas D. Ace was the adopted older brother of Monkey D. Luffy and the commander of the second division of the Whitebeard Pirates. He was also the son of the former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Ace was captured by the Marines and sentenced to be executed at Marineford. Despite the efforts of his brother Luffy and the Whitebeard Pirates to save him, Ace was killed by Admiral Akainu.

Whitebeard: Edward Newgate, also known as Whitebeard, was the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and one of the Four Emperors of the New World. He was considered to be the strongest pirate in the world and was a father figure to many of his crew members. In the Battle of Marineford, Whitebeard fought against the Marines and the Blackbeard Pirates. He was mortally wounded in the battle and died shortly afterwards.

Portgas D. Rouge: Portgas D. Rouge was the mother of Ace and the wife of Gol D. Roger. She was pregnant with Ace for 20 months, which led to her death due to complications from the extended pregnancy. Her death was a major turning point in the story, as it led to Ace being taken in by Garp and ultimately becoming a pirate.

Going Merry: The Going Merry was the first ship of the Straw Hat Pirates and a beloved member of the crew. However, after many adventures and battles, the ship became too damaged to be repaired and had to be retired. In a touching scene, the crew gave the ship a proper farewell and watched as it sailed off into the distance before sinking beneath the waves.

Bellemere: Bellemere was a former Marine and the adoptive mother of Nami and Nojiko. Dr. Hiluluk: Dr. Hiluluk was a doctor who lived in the Drum Kingdom. He was a mentor to Tony Tony Chopper and helped him to become a skilled doctor himself. However, Dr. Hiluluk was suffering from a terminal illness and sacrificed himself in an attempt to save the kingdom from the tyrannical Wapol. His last words, “When does a man die? When he is hit by a bullet? No. When he suffers a disease? No. When he eats a soup made from a poisonous mushroom? No! A man dies when he is forgotten!” became a memorable quote in the series.

Fisher Tiger: Fisher Tiger was a legendary pirate and the founder of the Sun Pirates. He was a former slave who fought for the freedom of his people and was known for his uncompromising principles. Fisher Tiger was mortally wounded in a mission to free slaves from Mariejois and died shortly afterwards.
