Brook and Roger are two characters from the popular manga and anime series, One Piece. Brook is a skeleton musician who joined the Straw Hat Pirates after the events of the Thriller Bark arc, while Roger was the captain of the Roger Pirates, the first pirate crew to reach the end of the Grand Line and discover the secrets of the world.
To answer the question of who is older between Brook and Roger, we need to first establish their ages. Unfortunately, neither Brook nor Roger’s exact ages are given in the One Piece series. However, we can make some educated guesses based on the information that is available.
Firstly, let’s look at Roger. According to the One Piece Wiki, Roger was executed 24 years before the current timeline of the series, which is set two years after the end of the Battle of Marineford. This means that Roger died around 26 years ago. We also know that Roger was a relatively young pirate when he discovered the secrets of the world, as he was only in his early thirties at the time. Therefore, we can assume that Roger was probably in his mid to late thirties when he was executed.
Now, let’s turn our attention to Brook. Brook was a human musician who ate the Yomi Yomi no Mi Devil Fruit, which gave him the ability to come back to life after he died. However, he ended up spending 50 years as a wandering skeleton before he was finally able to rejoin the land of the living. This means that Brook is at least 50 years old, and likely much older than that, as we don’t know how old he was when he ate the Devil Fruit.
So, based on the information we have, it seems likely that Brook is older than Roger. However, it’s worth noting that age is not always a straightforward concept in the world of One Piece. For example, characters like Kuzan (also known as Aokiji) and Charlotte Linlin (also known as Big Mom) have been shown to be able to manipulate time and age, which complicates matters somewhat.
Furthermore, age is not necessarily a reflection of a character’s strength or importance in the world of One Piece. Roger is revered as a legendary figure in the series, despite the fact that he died relatively young. Meanwhile, Brook’s age doesn’t seem to be a significant factor in his character arc or his role in the Straw Hat Pirates.
In conclusion, while we can’t say for sure who is older between Brook and Roger, it seems likely that Brook is the older of the two. However, age is not always a straightforward concept in the world of One Piece, and it’s important to remember that a character’s age is not necessarily indicative of their importance or strength within the story.
